- Submerge tomato in a pot of water. Turn heat to high. Cook for 10 mins, or until the skin of the tomato has split. Alternative ways to cook are roasting on high heat with no oil, but take a long time. Or just put it raw in the blender then fry with oil.
- Crush garlic.
- If using hot peppers: First cut the hot pepper along the side. Then cut off the top and the bottom of the pepper.
- Peel tomato and take out the white part. Crush, then blend.
